Anna O’Brien

I will be moving to the University of New Hampshire, Department of Molecular, Cellular and Biomedical Sciences to start my own lab as an Assistant Professor in March 2022. I will be looking for new M.S. & PhD students, if you are interested, please get in contact!

I am currently a post doc in the Frederickson, Rochman, and Sinton labs at University of Toronto, working on duckweeds, microbes, urban contaminants, and phenotypes.

My PhD work was at Davis, with thesis advisors Dr. Jeffrey Ross-Ibarra and Dr. Sharon Strauss. I also collaborated closely with Dr. Ruairidh Sawers at LANGEBIO-CINVESTAV in Guanajuato, Mexico.
